A stylish navy blue and grey handwoven neckerchief scarf - unisex for effortless style
This handwoven check triangle neckerchief is woven by Emma Baker on a traditional floor loom in Salisbury, Wiltshire, using fine merino lambswool in navy, mid-blue, pale blue and grey. The layered check design gives real depth to the cloth - the deep navy and dark grounding threads anchor the pattern, while the pale blue and grey squares lift and lighten it, so the scarf reads as bold from a distance and intricately detailed up close. It's a versatile colourway that works easily across a wardrobe. Against denim or a grey knit, the blues sit in harmony for a soft, tonal look. Against a white shirt or cream coat, the full check comes forward as the statement piece. Against navy or black outerwear, it adds texture and pattern without introducing a clashing colour.
How to wear it
Roll over the longest edge, wrap it around the neck, and knot or tuck the ends - or tie it loosely at the front for a classic neckerchief look. The ends add a relaxed, artisan finish. The fabric Woven from fine merino lambswool, this scarf has a softness that sits comfortably against the neck without itching. Merino gives warmth without bulk, making it as easy to wear indoors over a jumper as it is layered under a coat.
