A handwoven tartan designer merino wool snood scarf. A luxury stylish blue, orange and navy accessory. This snood can be folded neatly so is a useful accessory which can be popped into a bag for cooler times.
The fabric was woven on my Louet floor loom using a twill tartan design designed by Emma to create a unique scarf. The yarn used was fine 2/17nm merino lambswool in navy, blue, orange, brown and beige colours creating a beautifully soft and cosy accessory.
After weaving the fabric was washed which has helped the fabric to full and become softer. The snood has been sewn with a 1cm fray detailing on one side but is reversible if you would prefer the concealed seam on the outside.

This item can be hand washed gently in cool water with minimal agitation but should not be machine washed or tumbled dried.
