A classic houndstooth design scarf which has been handwoven using some handspun yarn to create a rather special accessory.  Woven with a Rowan wool (derived from an unravelled jumper that was knitted too large to be worn) and a handspun dark grey and rainbow bamboo and merino yarn this scarf will be both warm and stylish.  This scarf would be a perfect gift and would add an elegant warmth and style to any outfit.
 
Creation:
The bamboo and merino yarn was first spun woven on  a traditional spinning wheel.  This yarn and the light grey Rowan wool was then handwoven on a rigid heddle loom to create the one of a kind classically stylish scarf.
 
Dimensions:  21cm wide by 150cm long with a 19cm fringe at each end.
 
Care:
Handwash gently in warm water with minimal agitation.  Dry naturally and press.
