Three handwoven Christmas baubles, each one different, presented in a gift box with a label on the front - ready to give exactly as they arrive.
Each bauble is made by hand in Emma Baker's studio in Salisbury, Wiltshire. The fabric is woven on a traditional floor loom using fine merino lambswool in red, green, beige and yellow, then mounted inside an 8cm wooden embroidery hoop that frames the woven surface. A ribbon or cord loop is tied to the top for hanging on a Christmas tree branch.
Because each piece of fabric is cut from a handwoven cloth, the pattern placement differs from bauble to bauble which means the three in your box are all slightly different from each other, and from every other set sold.
A handmade alternative to mass-produced baubles
A handwoven merino bauble in an embroidery hoop is a genuinely different kind of Christmas decoration - made from the same fine merino lambswool as Emma's scarves and snoods, framed in a traditional wooden display hoop. They look beautiful as a standalone tree decoration and sit naturally alongside both contemporary and traditional Christmas styling.
