This snood is a one of a collection of accessories woven by Emma on a floor loom using a Monk's belt design.  This traditional design creates areas of colour against the lighter background and has been woven with sustainable cotton in ecru, pink and plum shades 
 
After weaving the fabric has been sewn into a tube with the repurposed baby pink merino lambswool fabric and sewn with an infinity twist.  Handwoven snoods and infinity cowls are popular gifts and this snood would be appreciated by someone who would recognise and understand that they were receiving a one of a kind handcrafted accessory.
