A large oversize designer shawl woven with 100% fine merino wool in pink, green and blue shades.  The shawl is a perfect warm and stylish accessory which will co-ordinate with a range of outfits during the winter or cooler autumnal and spring days.
 
A one of kind handwoven accessory which would be a superb very special gift where the recipient would take joy in its individuality and the skilled workmanship involved in its creation.  Handcrafted using traditional weaving skills on a large floor loom using a twill design this shawl offers softness against the skin whilst keeping the wearer cosy and warm.   
 
This shawl was woven on a Louet floor loom using different shades of pink, green and blue merino lambswool.  The design is a twill giving it a diagonal weaving pattern.  Once woven the fabric was removed from the loom, washed to full and carefully finished.
 
There are two variations of this shawl.  They vary simply in the order of weft colours, each unique but fairly indistinguisable.  One is a little longer
 
A Dimensions: 210cm x 60cm with a 0.5cm frayed edge at each end.
 
B Dimensions: 194cm x 60cm with a 0.5cm frayed edge at each end.
 
Care:
Sponge wash any small stains.  Handwash very gently in warm water with minimal agitation, rinse once, dry naturally and press.  Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
