A stunning large oversize shawl woven with fine merino lambswool.  This shawl is woven with a deflected doubleweave design which creates an open, lightweight weave which results in a shawl with a beautiful warmth.  This shawl would make a perfect luxury one of a kind gift for Christmas, birthday or another special occasion. 
 
Creation:
Woven on a Louet floor loom using 2/17nm merino lambswool in navy, lilac and white shades using a deflected doubleweave design.  The design is slightly different on each side which is part of the design.  After weaving the shawl has been washed and finished which softens the yarn beautifully.
 
Dimensions:
Length is 1.94m with an additional 5cm fringe at each end. Width is 40cm.

Care:  
Wash by hand in cool water with minimal agitation. Do not tumble dry.
