A handwoven cotton snood with an infinity twist - available in three colour combinations.
 
A handwoven cotton snood made by Emma Baker in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Woven on a floor loom from organic cotton yarn and finished with an infinity twist.  The snood is sewn into a tube and given a single twist before the ends are joined, creating a figure-of-eight loop that sits differently from a standard infinity scarf and drapes more naturally around the neck.  The cotton used in this snood is GOTS-certified organic cotton, sourced from Venne. 
 
Available colour combinations
Navy and White: A classic, crisp combination. The navy and white stripe pattern is bold and graphic, and works well with both casual and smart-casual outfits. The most versatile of the three options.  
Navy and Pink: A softer, more contemporary pairing. The pink accent warms the navy base and works particularly well with autumnal tones and neutral outerwear.  
Navy and Teal: A richer, more colour-led combination. The teal and navy tones sit closely on the colour wheel and create a harmonious, layered look. Works well with blues, greens and grey outerwear.

What makes a handwoven snood different?
A handwoven cotton snood is woven on a floor loom, row by row, using cotton yarn wound onto a warp. The weaving process creates a fabric with a structure and drape that knitted and machine-woven alternatives cannot replicate - each woven row is locked in place by the interlacing of warp and weft threads, producing a stable, non-stretchy fabric that holds its shape wash after wash. Cotton is lighter and cooler than merino wool, making this snood a year-round accessory: warm enough for spring and autumn, light enough for air-conditioned offices or cool summer evenings.
