A handwoven cotton infinity snood with a jersey lining - three colour variants, wool-free, made by Emma Baker in Salisbury
This snood is woven by Emma Baker on a floor loom in Salisbury, Wiltshire using cotton warp and a four-strand weft - four single strands of weft yarn woven together simultaneously, creating the multi-colour blending and intricate pattern visible on the surface. A variety of straight 8-shaft weaving designs are used across the fabric. After weaving, the snood is sewn into an infinity twist with a very fine jersey lining sewn in at the join - the jersey provides a smooth, comfortable inner surface at the neck and adds a slight stretch to the join.
Three colour variants
Variant 1 - Blue and turquoise
Variant 2 - Blue and grey
