Woven on a traditional floor loom in a twill structure using fine certified organic cotton yarn, this is quality that you can both feel and see.At approximately 44cm wide and 204cm long, it is generously sized: drape it over your shoulders like a shawl, wrap it as a scarf, or wear it loosely draped for a relaxed, contemporary look. The organic cotton is soft to touch and naturally breathable - making it as suited to a crisp winter morning as it is to the transitional days of early spring and autumn.
 
Why organic cotton?
Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, using processes that are gentler on the land and on the people who work with it. As a fibre, it is naturally soft, breathable, and hypoallergenic - qualities that make it an excellent choice for an accessory worn close to the skin. Emma sources fine organic cotton yarn specifically for this reason: a fabric that feels as good as it looks and that you can wear with confidence about its origins.  The yarn is GOTS certified.

Two variants:
A - The purple is the dominant colour, with white and grey as accents. The overall impression is rich and deep, with the checked structure visible but the purple leading.
B - The white and grey are more evenly balanced against the purple.

How to care for an organic cotton scarf:
Hand wash gently in cool or lukewarm water with a gentle detergent. Minimal agitation. Rinse once thoroughly. Press between towels to remove excess water and dry flat, away from direct heat. Do not machine wash on a hot cycle, wring or tumble dry. Organic cotton may shrink if washed in hot water — always use cool or lukewarm water.
