A generous merino lambswool shawl handwoven by Emma Baker in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Woven on a traditional 8-shaft floor loom in a classic twill structure, this shawl has a warm, autumnal palette of yellow, beige, brown and burgundy - colours chosen to work with camel, oatmeal and neutral tones that never date.
Merino lambswool is one of the finest natural fibres available: exceptionally soft against the skin, warm without bulk, and naturally breathable enough to wear across the seasons. The twill weave gives the fabric a subtle diagonal texture and a drape that distinguishes it from plain-woven wool.
At 192cm × 40cm, this shawl is large enough to wrap as a proper shawl, wear loose over the shoulders, or knot as an oversized scarf. Finished with a 0.5cm frayed edge at each end.

How to care for a merino lambswool shawl:
Sponge-wash small marks with a damp cloth. If a full wash is needed, hand wash very gently in hand-hot water with minimal agitation. Rinse once. Press between towels to remove excess water and dry flat, away from direct heat. Do not machine wash, wring or tumble dry.
