Handwoven fabric cosmetic zipped bag with a cotton lining in varoius shades and fabrics.
The fabric was woven on a floor loom or rigid heddle loom. After weaving the fabric was washed and finished and sewn into a small bag with a zip an lining made from repurposed cotton or linen shirt fabric.
The two sides of each of the bags are not identical.
A - 18cm x 14cm - made from merino lambswool fabric in purple, grey and green shades using a reverse twill design.
B - 19cm x 13 cm - woven on a rigid heddle loom using British wool with a houndstooth design.
C - 17cm x 15cm - woven using an Overshot design with cotton and wool yarn - this bag has different colours on each side
D - 19cm x 17cm - woven on a rigid heddle loom using British wool with a houndstooth design. This bag is different on each side.
E - 19cm x 14cm - woven on a floor loom with fine merino lambswool with a twill design in orange, blue, turqioise and pink shades
F - 21cm x 14cm - woven on a floor loom with fine merino lambswool and a checked design in a range of colours with a twill pattern.
G - 19cm x 14 - woven on a floor loom with fine merino lambswool and a checked design in range of colours with a twill pattern
H - 15cm x 11cm - woven on a floor loom using fine merino lambswool with a twill checked design
