Handwoven merino Christmas baubles by Emma Baker in Salisbury- each unique, £8 each.
Each bauble is made by Emma Baker in Salisbury, Wiltshire. The fabric is woven on a floor loom using fine merino lambswool in red, green, beige and yellow, then mounted inside an 8cm wooden embroidery hoop that frames the woven surface. A ribbon loop is tied to the top for hanging on a Christmas tree branch. Each bauble is unique - the fabric pattern placement differs from one to the next.
A handmade alternative to mass-produced baubles
A handwoven merino bauble in an embroidery hoop is a genuinely different kind of Christmas decoration - made from the same fine merino lambswool as Emma’s scarves and snoods, framed in a traditional craft display hoop. A stocking filler, a teacher or colleague gift, or an addition to a gift package of Emma’s Christmas textiles.

The merino fabric can be spot cleaned with a barely damp cloth if needed. The wooden embroidery hoop should not be immersed in water. Store in tissue paper between seasons to protect the merino surface.
