Rich, saturated greens and blues woven into a classic checked pattern - this handwoven merino lambswool scarf is the kind of accessory that elevates everything it is worn with. Woven on an 8-shaft floor loom in Salisbury, Wiltshire using 100% fine merino lambswool, it is warm without weight, beautifully soft against the skin, and designed to last for many years.

At 180cm long, this is a scarf with real versatility: long enough to wrap generously around the neck and still drape well, narrow enough (25cm) to sit neatly under a collar or throw over a shoulder without bulk.

Why this scarf stands out

- Generous length - 180cm long and 25cm wide, with a neatly sewn frayed fringe at each end

- Gift-ready - presented in a gold embossed gift box, ready to give

About merino lambswool - and why it matters
Not all wool is the same. Merino lambswool comes from the first shearing of merino sheep, producing fibres that are exceptionally fine, soft and flexible. Unlike standard wool, which can feel scratchy or stiff, merino lambswool sits softly against the skin.

It is also a naturally smart fibre: warm in cold weather, breathable when the temperature rises, and naturally resistant to odour. A merino lambswool scarf worn with care will retain its beauty and softness for a decade or more.

A considered gift
A handwoven merino lambswool scarf is the kind of gift that genuinely lasts in quality, in style, and in the impression it makes. Whether you are looking for a landmark birthday gift, a Christmas present for someone with discerning taste, or a special treat for yourself, this scarf sits in a different category from anything found on the high street.

The gold embossed gift box means it arrives beautifully presented, with no additional wrapping needed. Delivery to the UK, USA and Canada.

How to care for a merino lambswool scarf
Merino lambswool is resilient and naturally odour-resistant - it rarely needs washing. When it does:
- Spot-clean small marks with a damp cloth as soon as possible
- Hand wash only -wash very gently in warm water with minimal agitation and a single rinse
- Never wring or twist - press gently between clean towels to remove excess water
- Dry naturally, laid flat or draped over a hanger, away from direct heat or sunlight
- Press lightly with a cool iron and a pressing cloth if needed
- Do not machine wash or tumble dry - heat and agitation can cause the fibres to felt and shrink irreversibly
