A luxurious handwoven snood scarf woven using fine merino lace yarn to create a unique statement accessory.   Woven using a doubleweave geometric square design with white, dark grey, purple, pale grey and a berry pink yarn.  This listing is for three unique scarves which would make a perfect super special gift being a unique luxury handcrafted item.
 
 
Creation:  This snood has been woven using fine merino lace yarn on a floor using using an 8 shaft doubleweave design.  This results in reversal of the threads from the botton to the top layer creating this unique design.  Once the fabric has been woven it has been sewn into a tube along with a small piece of black, purple or pink knitted merino lambswool fabric with an infinity twist.  This knitted fabric gives the snood a little stretch allowing it to sit comfortably and warmly around the neck.  Perfect to co-ordinate with a range of colours due to the nature of the design.
