This square colour block twill cowl provides a perfect warm pop of colour to an outfit complimenting with a range of outfits.  The handwoven fabric has been sewn with some repurposed merino knitted fabric to create a fusion of weave and knit.  This cowl is lined to create a beautifully cosy accessory which would make a stunning luxury gift for Christmas, birthdays or any special occasion.
 
Creation:
The handwoven fabric was woven on an 8 shaft Louet floor loom using fine merino lambswool using a twill design which has been woven in a square colour block design.  After weaving the fabric was washed to remove the spinning oils which support the fragile merino yarn for weaving afterwhich the fabric fulls and softens.  Once washed the cowl has been sewn with some blue knitted merino fabric in an infinity cowl design with a twist.
