A versatile fusion cowl scarf made from merino lambswool handwoven fabric in a variety of red, navy, teal, purple, grey  and green tones.  A perfect addition to any wardrobe where an instant injection of warmth and style is needed.  The woven fabric varies along its length and is sewn together with some repurposed red knitted lambswool fabric which means that it will co-ordinate with outfits in a variety of colours.  This cowl would be a perfect colour pop for a navy or red coat, jacket or jumper.  This cowl is a unique one off piece so would be a perfect special gift.
 
Creation:  
A wide warp of fine 2/17nm  merino lambwool was woven on wide warp on a Louet floor loom using a range of rich colours.  A twill design was chosen.  After weaving the fabric was removed from the loom and washed in warm water to remove the yarn spinning oils which resulted in the fabric fulling to become a beautifully soft fabric.  The fabric was then sewn into a infinity scarf along with some bright red knitted lambswool fabric.

Care:  Handwash gently in warm water.  Dry naturally and press.  Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
