A stylish autumnal inspired handwoven shawl, woven in a tartan design using blue, orange and navy shades.  Woven using the finest merino wool this shawl offers unparalleled softeness and comfort keeping you cozy in the winter or cooler days in the spring and autumn months   A  sophisticated and timeless accessory which would make a beautiful special gift where the traditional skills of the handweaver would be appreciated. 

Creation:  The fabric was woven on my Louet floor loom using a twill tartan design designed by me to create a unique scarf. The yarn used was fine 2/17nm merino Lambswool in navy, blue, orange, brown and beige colours.  After weaving the fabric was washed which has helped the fabric to fill and become softer.
 
Dimensions:  31cm wide by 180cm long with a 1cm fray at each end.

Care:  This item can be handwashed gently in cool water with minimal agitation, dried naturally and pressed.  It should not be machine washed or tumbled dried.
